A Few Bars of the Messiah to Sing for Christmas
December already! It’s time to clear our throats and strike up a few Christmas tunes together! As Les Arts Florissants tours Handel’s Messiah, we invite you to sing along to an excerpt from this essential piece of choral music.
On December 6 and 7 at the Philharmonie de Paris, one hundred amateur choir singers will mingle with the musicians and singers of Les Arts Florissants for something exceptional: to rehearse a few choruses with them in preparation for the dress rehearsal of the Messiah.
To share this adventure with you through the mind, the ear and especially the voice, here’s something to help you sing an excerpt from Handel’s Messiah:
