An educational residency at the Paris Conservatoire
Throughout the year 2017/2018, Les Arts Florissants, William Christie and Paul Agnew have been invited by the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP) to be active protagonists in the Ancient Music Department.
Public events will punctuate this educational residency, during which William Christie will give a masterclass and direct an orchestra project, while Paul Agnew will conduct a Bach Cantata.
Worth noting in your datebook: a first concert dedicated to Monteverdi’s Ballo delle Ingrate will take place on the 20th October, under the direction of William Christie (free entrance upon reservation). And for those who could not attend it, this musical event will be broadcasted live in binaural and transaural sound on conservatoiredeparis.fr!
William Christie at the Juilliard School
For the 11th consecutive year William Christie will be going to the Juilliard School in New York for a working residency with students from this prestigious institution.
