The artists of the 2016 Festival have discovered the gardens
Guided by William Christie, the artists of 2016 Festival have discovered his gardens in Thiré, Vendée. From August 20 to 27, Baroque music will fly around the gardens of the Musical Director and Foundor of Les Arts Florissants with afternoon Promenades musicales in various corners of the gardens and evening concerts on the reflectign pool.
Just before the Festival opening, William Christie, together with Paul Agnew, conducts the traditionnal visit of the gardens by the artists so that they can discover the many places, specially designed for music more than 30 years ago, where the Promenades musicales, short afternoon concerts, will take place.
The artists of the 2016 Festival discover the Théâtre de verdure specially designed for music.
