Behind the scenes of the Jardin des Voix residency in Thiré
Selected in the entire world, the laureates of the 8th edition of the Jardin des Voix, Les Arts Florissant's academy for young singers, have settled in Thiré this month for an intensive working residency with William Christie, Paul Agnew and Sophie Daneman.
Since early August, the six laureates of the Jardin des Voix are gathered in the little town where the festival Dans les Jardins de William Christie takes place every summer. In this peaceful scenery and under the watchful eye of Les Arts Florissants' conductors, they are preparing together a concert on the most beautiful pieces from the Baroque English Music: An English Garden. The Jardin des Voix young singers will perform at the festival Dans les Jardins de William Christie for the first time together, before going on tour in Nantes, Caen, Paris, Saragossa, Madrid, Moscow and London. Stay tuned!
