Les Arts Florissants wins 2 Helpmann Awards in Australia
After the success of the Australian tour of In an Italian garden, the 7th edition of Le Jardins des Voix and William Christie were nominated in the prestigious Helpmann Awards which are handed out for live performances in Australia.
The 15th annual Helpmann Awards ceremony was held on July 27 at the Capitol Theater (Sydney).
During this event, Le Jardin des Voix won the Helpmann Award in the category of Best Chamber and/or Instrumental Ensemble Concert andWilliam Christie was rewarded for the Best Individual Classical Performance.
