This International Early Music Competition in Loire Valley is open to all instrumental ensembles performing repertoire from the 17th and 18th centuries on period instruments (Baroque chamber ensembles). The aim of this competition is to promote ensembles of young musicians who specialize in this repertoire. You can still register online until 1st March 2015.
This first International Early Music Competition in Val de Loire is co-organized by Stradivaria - Ensemble Baroque de Nantes and Anacréon, Angers. The theme is: Italian art of King Louis XIV’s France.
The jury comprises musicians and personalities from the musical world and is presided by William Christie.
