Le Jardin des Voix - 9th edition - 2019

Les Arts Florissants are pleased to announce that the selection process for the 9th edition of Le Jardin des Voix will start on January 10, 2018.

Le Jardin des Voix is an Academy for young singers, specialized in the music of the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries. It is co-directed by William Christie, musical director and founder of Les Arts Florissants and Paul Agnew, associate musical director and associate conductor of Les Arts Florissants.

• The exact informations about the process and the application will be online January 10, 2018.
• The application will close on February 9, 2018.
• Auditions will take place between March 2 and May 3 2018.

For the 9th edition of Le Jardin des Voix, William Christie and Paul Agnew have decided to present Mozart's joyous early opera La finta giardiniera.

This work will be performed :

• in August 2019 at the festival Dans les Jardins de William Christie in Thiré in Vendée,
• in Autumn 2019 on a world tour.
