The Temporary garden by Les Arplanteurs
In order to pursue the goals of professional training, encouraging young talent, and launching new careers that are among the founding principles of the Festival, and also to extend its reach to landscaping and horticulture, William Christie launched a competition for a Temporary garden ahead of the 2015 edition of Dans les Jardins de William Christie.
The Temporary garden was designed to accomodate the concerts during the Promenades musicales by two young landscape architects: Hermeline Carpentier and Simon Cathelain, Les Arplanteurs. Their winning project comprises a shaded Baroque prairie.

The 2015 Festival Dans les Jardins de William Christie, which takes place in the Vendée region of France until August 29, started on Saturday.
