In October 10 to 20, William Christie will conduct Les Arts Florissants in Theodora by Handel, a new production of the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées staged by Stephen Langridge with Katherine Watson, Stéphanie d'Oustrac, Philippe Jaroussky, Kresimir Spicer and Callum Thorpe.
Rehearsals at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées started early in September. First rehearsals images filmed, with William Christie, Stephen Langridge and the soloists, show their work back-staged in studio.
This Theodora is a new opportunity for William Christie and Philippe Jaroussky to work together and both are very excited to present this new production to the public.
