Les Arts Florissants will perform at Vaux-le-Vicomte
The Château of Vaux-le-Vicomte presents for the first time Les Arts Florissants directed by William Christie on July 9, 2015.
His passion for formal gardens added to that of baroque music, William Christie will fulfill a life-long dream : to play at the heart of Vaux-le-Vicomte’s garden, “where it all began”.
Vaux-le-Vicomte celebrates the 400° anniversary of Nicolas Fouquet’s birthday by offering a renowned artistic programming, recalling the major Arts present at Vaux-le-Vicomte during the 17th century. the audience will first enjoy a candlelit cocktail dinner, just before the Arts Florissants concert of Airs sérieux et à boire.
