William Christie - Doctor Honoris Causa of Leiden University
On Monday, February 9, William Christie received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa from the oldest Dutch University, for his great merit in discovering “the essence of the French music”.
William Christie is being awarded an honorary doctorate by the The Leiden University Academy of Creative and Performing Arts in recognition of his contribution to cultural research and education.
